What we build

Networks and ICT infrastructure

Cabling is the part of a network that nobody sees and everyone depends on for fifteen years. We design and deliver structured cabling, Wi-Fi, fibre and server rooms for offices, campuses and estates, with every link tested and every outlet labelled, so that the network you accept is the network on the drawings.

What we do

  • Structured cabling in copper and fibre, designed to ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA-568 practice, with a certification report for every link
  • Wi-Fi design from the floor plan and a site survey, not from the number of rooms
  • Fibre backbones, FTTH and XPON (GPON and EPON) access networks for estates, campuses and multi-tenant buildings
  • Server and comms rooms: racks, power, cooling, earthing and cable management
  • Voice migration from legacy telephone systems to IP and cloud voice
  • Labelling, documentation and as-built drawings

How we work

  1. 1

Survey and requirements: users, devices, rooms and growth

  2. 2

Design: outlet plan, containment routes, rack layouts and Wi-Fi plan

  3. 3

Bill of quantities and contractor selection

  4. 4

Installation under supervision, with daily reports

  5. 5

Certified testing of every link and a Wi-Fi verification survey

  6. 6

Handover: test reports, labelled as-built drawings and a cut-over plan

Certified testing, not a continuity check

A basic tester tells you that a cable is connected. A certification tester tells you whether the link meets its category for bandwidth, crosstalk and return loss, and saves the result. We require a certification report for every copper and fibre link, named to match the labels on the outlets and the patch panels.

The report is part of the handover, and it is what most cabling manufacturers ask for before they issue a system warranty.

Fibre, FTTH and XPON

For estates, campuses and multi-tenant buildings, passive optical networks (GPON and EPON, often grouped as XPON) bring fibre to each unit with few active devices in the field. The design work is in the splitter plan, the optical power budget and the route records.

We plan these networks, supervise the splicing and installation, and test each path with an optical power meter. Backbone fibres also get an OTDR trace, kept on file for the day a cable is cut.

Server rooms and voice

A server room usually fails on the basics: power without backup, no cooling at night, patch cords nobody can trace. We plan the room as a whole, from the earth connection to the cable management. Where the telephone system is due for replacement, we plan the move to IP or cloud voice with a cut-over that keeps calls flowing on the day.

Team experience

Voice and network modernisation for an international group's regional office in Nairobi

Our team led voice and network modernisation for an international group's regional office in Nairobi: planning the work, managing the suppliers and keeping the office running during the change.

We bring the same method to every network project: a written design, supervised installation, tested links and records the next engineer can use.

Frequently asked

Who does the installation?

Licensed specialist contractors install under our management and supervision. We set the design and the test requirements, check the work every day and accept nothing without test results.

Which cable category should we use?

For most new offices, Category 6 or 6A copper to the desk and fibre between floors or buildings. The right answer depends on distances, devices and how long you plan to stay in the building; the design sets out the options.

Can you work with the cabling we already have?

Yes. We test and document what is there first. Links that pass are kept; links that fail are listed with the options to repair or replace them.

Do you build FTTH networks for estates?

Yes: design, supervision and testing of FTTH and XPON networks for residential estates, campuses and multi-tenant buildings.
